Hunted Cow Studios is launching its flagship project this Saturday: the free-to-play MMORPG Eldevin, which aims to be the biggest 3D MMO in browsers.
It’s taken the self-funded indie team eight years to create Eldevin, which packs in hundreds of hours of content, real-time combat, 14 gathering and crafting professions, 200 talents and 100 abilities, and group dungeons and PvP matches. Players can take on one of six unique roles (Templar, Warrior, Assassin, Ranger, Mage, and Prophet) but are free to mix and match in a classless system. Eldevin is playable in most browsers running on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Players ally with either the Eldevin army or the mages of the Arcane Council in a war for the Elemental Spheres, which have corrupted the Eldevin Kingdom, plunging it into chaos and attracting the deadly attention of Tristan, the Emperor of the Infernal Empire, who’ll stop at nothing to possess them.
Founder Packs for early access are still available until midnight on Nov. 29. Eldevin launches on Nov. 30 at 9 a.m. Eastern. It uses Java technology.
