Anno Online English CBT Starts

Apr 23,2013 by Eleanor

Ubisoft toady announces the start of the English Closed Beta for Anno Online, a combination of the popular elements of the Anno franchise and some new features suited to a persistent, browser-based game.

In Anno Online, the major goal for players is to make the best of their resources to build, with 1000 buildings and many decorative items available, their islands and expand the territory to develop a commercial empire. Trade by ships remains essential for the game. Players are able to rent ships or constitute their own, setting out for business or to conquer new lands.

According to Ubisoft, players will have the opportunity to cooperate with friends due to the upcoming guild system, scheduled to be integrated around mid-May, which then will allow players to create their own guild, invite up to 25 members and work out strategy using the guild chat channel. Besides, there will be a brand new building, the Guild Hall, added to the game, too. Based on the critically acclaimed, award-winning franchise, fans can now experience all the strategy, simulation and highly-detailed animation and graphics for the first time in a browser-based game.

Now, the closed beat for English speakers has begun. Players can create their account and jump into the game on the official site.
