Bubble Loop is a new casual puzzle game from Royal Cactus, the publisher behind many social bubble shooting-style puzzlers like Bubble Monsters and the newly launched Jelly Glutton. With the new puzzler, players will help little pirate Poulpy to travel across the sea over ten distinct landscapes from Volcano to Jungle to Lagoon and more.

The core of Bubble Loop is in the same vein with the classic Zuma or Puzz Loop, presenting an easy-to-learn yet immersive matching fun. The basic mechanics is simple to pick up: match at least 3 pearls of the same color to make them disappear and stop the pearl line to reach the hole while achieving the specific goal of each level to pass.

Bubble Loop

In-game variety reveals itself along with the increasing difficulty as you make progression through levels. You can make different amount of combos to create color-rated Jewels, which will give a boost to scores at the end of a level, and even make greater power-ups by combining different jewels. Gradually, you will also encounter special pearls such as Rainbow and Lightning Pearls in the line, and you can trigger special effects when you shoot at them. Obstacles will be there, too; so will bonuses. There are so far ten maps, each with ten levels and its own landscapes, and four different gaming modes designed to challenge you in different ways.

Bubble Loop has a cartoony artwork style for the casual bubble-shooting fun. It offers fluent gameplay except for the regular interruption of ads display at intervals. It’s solid and passable, but conventional and unoriginal.
