Candy Planet is a new bubble-shooting puzzle game on Facebook. In the sweet-filled universe, players can travel across many planets, shooting bubbles, scoring high and collecting gingerbears.

Easy-to-learn, Candy Planet plays just like many of its contenders in the core. You control a cannon to shoot balls and make matches of at least three bubbles of the same color to drop them. When you pop off a minimum of ten bubbles in the top line of the board, you win. Then scores are calculated and gingerbears rated. To achieve a high score and at least one Gingerbear to pass a level, you need to adopt a combination of skills – bounce balls to reach the otherwise impossible corner, switch balls to make every bubble a precise shot, make combos to increase the multiplier of each pots at the bottom of the screen, and use a variety of optional helps from projectile to rainbow bubbles to extra moves.

Candy Planet

As you make progress through the gaming planets, you will enter ever-increasing difficult levels. Once you’ve complete a planet, you can travel to another by a ship with the help of friends or by coughing up some real money. That’s one major spot where the game monetizes, besides the powerful boosters available.

Candy Planet is beautifully drawn with pleasant music true to the sweet theme. It has solid, fun gameplay, but it doesn’t provide anything new to the board.

  1. Ann says:

How do you "clear the current planet" to move to the next one? I have 2 or 3 stars on 1-10, yet it won't let me go to 11.

  2. Karen Tanner says:

You need crew members to help you get to next planet. Ask your friends to help
