Offensive Combat, a new free-to-play multiplayer console-quality FPS for web browsers and mobile, is announced by U4iA (sounds like euphoria), a new indie studio created by former Activision veterans behind Call of Duty franchise. And Offensive Combat turns out to be the One that U4iA CEO Dusty Welch expects to take down Call of Duty and rival League of Legends.
Offensive Combat promises to bring highly competitive multiplayer action into the hybrid frenzy universe that fuses fantasy, modern military and sci-fi. Customize your gunner, harness skills and engage in fast-paced arena-style battles. The game is made for browsers and mobile, with two versions interconnected and worked together.
Future details will be released in the coming weeks. And the first beta is set in this fall and the official release will follow later this year.
