Minh “Gooseman” Le, the co-creator of CS, and OGPlanet announce today that they are going to launch their latest team-based FPS called Tactical Intervention officially on March 28th, 2013 in North America following the game’s March 14th –Open-beta Test.
Tactical Intervention is developed by the veteran FPS designers, Minh Le and FIX Korea, and is high-anticipated by shooter fans. Despite the great similarity to CS in basic structures, the new shooter is implemented with some brand new features. “With the infamous Highway Mission, players will climb into the driver’s seat, shoot hanging out of vehicle passenger windows, all while chasing after the same target. Players can also call in attack dogs to come to their aid, and even make use of tactical rappel ropes to gain the upper hand on the opposing force. They will also have to be conscious of civilians who can be taken as hostages and used as human shields.” Tactical Intervention on the whole is hardcore with fast-paced gameplay that requires team tactics, careful plan and skills.
Before the planned OBT and commercial launch, OGPlanet is also hosting a short Closed Beta Test from March 4th to the 8th. If you can’t wait picking up a gun in the game, you can sign up at the site of Joystiq, exclusively.
