Parkour is cool. And it would be cooler if you are the very performer. If you can’t do that in real life, you can have a try now in the virtual world of Vector, a new arcade-style free-running title to launch on multiplatform including Facebook, G+ and mobile devices.

Vector The Game

Vector is set up with a backstory in the totalitarian world of future when freedom doesn’t exist any longer. There, the hero escapes the system to the Parkour world where he must keep running for the sake of freedom; otherwise, he will be forced back to the original spot. Surely, your character isn’t just running, but doing the acrobatic stunt of overcoming every obstacle on the way head-on.

In-game actions and moves will stay true to the realistic sports and will be rendered in the realistic manner. Several different modes will be available and subject to expansion in the game. One primary is the Chase in which you escape from pursuer’s hunt down while trying to score high points by collecting bonuses and performing stunts along the way. Another is Time Trial where you compete the press of limited time to run as long distance as possible, and still another is the Endless mode where you just try your best to survive the greatest distance. Moreover, multiplayer modes will also come around allowing all players play together synchronously.

Vector is developed by the very creator of Shadow Fight, an arcade fighter on the social network, and is designed with the similar silhouette style artwork shown in the previous title. Moreover, the realistic animation technology, Cascadeur, which works well in rendering physical-based animation, will continue to breathe life into the spectacular feats of Vector.

Vector is in development now and entering beta on July 9th on Facebook, with versions for other platform coming in following months this year. Expect to parkour!
